Overview
The CDPAP Support Specialist is responsible for accepting referrals, processing authorizations, monitoring compliance of Personal Attendants health forms and being a liaison to County and Managed Care Plans.
Responsibilities
- Review and accept/decline referrals within 5 business days
- Update electronic files with current authorizations
- Review, input, and maintain compliance of Authorizations
- Provide orientation to new Personal Attendants
- Participate in Launch Meetings
- Conduct 90 day observations
- Process Payroll
- Review compliance of CDPAP Personal Attendants
- Review compliance of CDPAP members
- Liaison to finance team
- Liaison to county and managed care plans
- Review and submit billing
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalency
- Computer skills including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel and electronic client record system preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Organized with the ability to be efficient and detail oriented
- Ability to compassionately and patiently communicate with members, their family and staff
- Ability to work independently is required
- Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills and knowledge
