OB SUMMARY:

The RTS Access Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting the RTS Access staff with general administrative tasks for the company.

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for completing clerical tasks and customer communication related to transportation services at RTS Access. This position provides support to the RTS Access management team.

 

HOURLY RATE: $16.50 per hour

 

WORK HOURS: Part-time; approximately 20 hours per week, Monday through Wednesday

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Answers telephone, makes copies and distributes.
  • Arranges for meetings, appointments, and conferences and may take notes
  • Types letters, statements, etc. for the department, initiates correspondence from outline notes, verbal instructions. etc.
  • Processes incoming mail; reviews and directs to appropriate team member
  • Completes vouchers and fulfills customer pass purchases
  • Completes general data entry for assigned tasks
  • General administrative duties, including filing, purging, etc.

 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Other duties as assigned

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED
  • 2-4 years of experience in a file clerk or administrative type role preferred
  • 2 years of customer service experience preferred
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Thorough knowledge of business English, spelling, and punctuation. Skill in composition of correspondence
  • Knowledge of MS operating system with experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and ability to learn new technology
  • Good communications skills, ability to work effectively with both customers and employees
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work independently and to follow through on work assignments
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work assignments with guidance
