About Us

YWCA of Rochester & Monroe County is a critical resource in the our community.  YWCA seeks to eliminate racism and empower women through housing, young adult services and equity advocacy.  With a continuum of housing services including emergency shelter for women and children, long term affordable supportive housing, programming for women who are survivors of domestic violence, housing and treatment for women in recovery as well as specialized program for young adult parents, YWCA is impacting thousands of women and families—but especially women and girls of color, find their own path to empowerment.
